Third Roundtable on the topic of "survivors of terrorism and political violence"

Roundtable "Survivors of terrorism and political violence", December 2011 Thursday 14 November 2013

The Tutu Centre is going to hold its third roundtable on Wednesday, 11th December at 5.30 pm. The event will take place at EDEN 203 at Hope Park, Childwall. The topic of the roundtable is "survivors of terrorism and political violence" and will explore the personal stories of survivors and families of victims, as well as lessons to be learned for life after loss.

The panel will include three guest speakers: Kate Caroll, who founded the Steve Caroll Foundation in memory of her husband, the first officer of the Police Service of Northern Ireland to be killed; Jo Dover, member of the Tim Parry and Jonathan Ball Foundation for Peace which supports victims and survivors of acts of terrorism; and Margaret Evison, author of the book 'Death of a soldier, a mothers story'. The event will be moderated by Prof Neil Ferguson (Tutu Centre).
